Featured: OmniBus

Well all of you Deviants it’s been a little while since we’ve featured something but we have a little thing for you that’s different from our past features or discussions so let’s get going!

For this new feature we have a write up about some new friends of ours that have their very own video game coming out this spring on steam. The game is called OmniBus and it’s a crazy little adventure for you to ride along with. The game runs a lot like some of the original Playstation and Nintendo 64 games would with similar graphics and similar physics. The idea of the game is pretty simple, all that you need to do is drive a bus around as it picks up speed and complete certain tasks that are assigned. While it’s only in the demo phase, as the finishing touches are being done, the game is a fun way to spend your time. You can run through basically everything and find yourself hurling ridiculously around as you maneuver your way through various levels. Controls are simple so there’s no long learning curve that you have to worry about just to get yourself through the first level.

The game is being developed by Amir and Jeremy who are fresh college graduates out of DePaul University in Chicago. The idea for OmniBus is one that they’ve had for awhile but it wasn’t until they were free from the confines of school that they were able to sit down and make some magic happen. The game has been in development for over a year now with Amir designing, being the artist and doing PR while Jeremy has also been designing, programming and composing for the game. It’s been a journey for them but what they’ve created is something special that will be the beginning of many great things to come we’re sure.

Well all you Deviants that’s our brand new feature for you so feel free to check it out at the link below and see what it’s all about. As always feel free to share this and don’t forget to keep checking back for more new material!
